About Us - Luke Charnley
OI OI (My known way of saying hello to people haha!) My names Luke Charnley, I am 32 from Manchester.
I have always done a lot of modelling which has been either shoots, promotion adverts for brands or just general promotion through my social media which was one of the main reasons I wanted to start my own clothing brand. I have always enjoyed the industry and I thought to myself, well, I am promoting other clothing companies and large brands why not have my own to promote?
I work in the TV industry and do a lot of acting on TV program's, films, adverts which has led me to a lot of events and got me mixed in with a lot of celebrities', actors, influencers, and people who are involved in the industry which has pushed me even more so having had conversations about setting the brand up.
I always had a lot of negative thoughts in my head like ‘Where do we start’, ‘How do we start’, ‘What if it doesn’t work’ lots of things went through my head over many years but the day came where I started to have conversations with my business partner.
We had a lot of conversations; calls and discussions to speak about the options and no risk startups to see how the business would work and this is where we began with a print on demand company. This way we didn’t have a huge risk in putting a lot of money into the business for it to fail, after just a couple of months we knew straight away we had a lot of support, and we were doing very well. After a year or so we decided to make that step further into running the business from our homes fully. From there the business has grown more than we could have imagined, and we want to keep growing.
The name behind the brand was created due to the huge Impact everybody had during lockdown. Having discussed a lot of names we wanted something for people to relate too. We are hugely behind mental health and bringing people together. The number of things we see these days involved with mental health, we want to make sure people are aware that everybody can be helped in some way, there are always people about to help and bringing people together people always have somebody to talk to.
Along with building an affordable, amazing brand we want to build a community .
